Island Adventures

Your visit to the island may include one of the many attractions there, whether you are a history buff, a bike rider, a horse lover or the "anything goes" vacationer!

Adventures are found all over the island from Skull Cave to Arch Rock and everything in between.  A bicycle and walking road circles around the entire lakeshore.  The entire island is a Michigan State Park as well as a National Historic Site and Fort Mackinac is a top priority for any vacationer.  Carriage tours provide a wonderful view of many of the finest sites and a look at the interior forest and woodlands.  Views of the Straits of Mackinac spanned by the Mackinac Bridge are especially breathtaking.  Lunch at the Grand Hotel will treat you to service in the finest old-time tradition.  Relaxing in the park watching the marina and boats is a favorite summer past-time.  Shopping the vibrant downtown district will satisfy your taste for the famous fudge or bring home some souvenirs for memories of a life-time.
