SEE THE LES CHENEAUX ISLAND OF CEDARVILLE, UP

(31 Miles from St. Ignace)

Les Cheneaux Distillers

Les Cheneaux Distillers is a new micro-distillery and brewery located in the heart of the Eastern Upper Peninsula, the Les Cheneaux Islands. Our new, Cedarville facility was completely renovated from the old Hudson Hardware building into a unique, industrial-style experience for our customers. The space consists of a large bar, dining and tasting area along with a lounge area and multiple opportunities for events and retail. We look forward to serving the Les Cheneaux community and visitors alike our assortment of craft beers, spirits, sodas and small plates, while distributing our products outside of the area as well.

Les Cheneaux Historical Museum

The Les Cheneaux Historical Museum displays artifacts showing many details from the past: Indian crafts and tools from the logging era, a model of a lumber camp, photos from frontier lift or early settlers and the hotel and tourist periods.

Les Cheneaux Islands

The Les Cheneaux area lies east of the Mackinac Bridge along the northern shore of Lake Huron. Thirty-six islands provide sheltered channels and bays within the Straits of Mackinac – a historic harbor area for boaters and explorers. Whispering forests with trails and pathways offer unparalleled year-round opportunities for vacations, day-trips, reunions and quiet breaks from city life. Cedarville and Hessel, historic Upper Peninsula port towns with marinas and waterfront vistas, have unusual gift and craft-making shops, galleries, an outfitter and guide service, boat building school, and places to eat and kick-back within walking distance from docks.
